The Call
Pastor Jesonya Hargrove is a native of Rocky Mount, NC. She currently serves
as the senior Pastor of New Covenant Church of Deliverance. Pastor Hargrove
was nurtured in a Godly home, where she was educated on the value of prayer,
studying the Word of God, church attendance and serving in the Kingdom by her
mother, grandmother, aunt and close family members.
At a young age, Pastor Hargrove began her service within the body of Christ. Her
early years of church membership included White Cross Holy Church under the
leadership of Pastor Melvin Gattis, and Truth Tabernacle of Deliverance ministry
under the supervision of Bishop Haywood L. Parker. In 2007, after several years
of working alongside these two ministries, she acknowledged her call to preach
and was ordained as an Evangelist by Bishop Spain of the Glorious Church in
Raleigh, N.C.

Jaqueline W. Goodman. Whom prior to her death in 2011, appointed Pastor Hargrove as
the successor to fulfill the assignment of the ministry. As her journey of service
continues, she joined under the leadership of the late Dr. Gertrude Stacks of Shalom
Fellowship International located in Detroit Michigan.

limited to; taking care of the homeless, nurturing the elderly, and clothing the
